... you've had together,
and what you have seen:

Friends, neighbors,
and loved ones so dear.
Dreams for tomorrows
full of hope without fear.

A family, a home, and a career...
these brought memories to endear.

Three children, three lives to rear.
Each with cries and laughter to hear.
Three little faces with a frown or tear,
when given a hug a smile would appear.

Moments of grief and heartache
with many hours of cheer.
Cloudy and stormy days,
days which where clear.

What you have seen
you did not engineer.
It is with Gods help
you have been able to persevere.
